The birth of ‘Sanjeevani’ was a result of a prolonged churning of thoughts and ideas. Finally, after much reflection, we were able to crystallize the concepts which our Logo should represent –

• It should be symbolize the medical field without confusion.
• It should reflect our Hospital letter ‘A’, which itself is a unique font, even in basic colours of Black and White.
• It should symbolize positivism, because healing is a positive experience.
• It should have some token of spirituality / culture reflecting the ownership of the Hospital.

The first objective was achieved when we zeroed in on the humble Stethoscope, which is an overlooked yet unmistakably a potent representative of the Medical fraternity. Simply put, ‘Stethoscope’ means ‘Doctor’.

The second and third requirements were met in the depiction of our stethoscope; the ‘A’ clearly stands out in its Binaural along with the ‘smile’ which is seen in the Binaural springs, whereas the Heart shown in the Diaphragm signifies a ‘Human Touch’, re-affirming our Vision/Mission Statement. Interestingly, when we tested the logo for viewer reaction, people saw other symbols of positivism like two arms extended into a fist bump signifying camaraderie or image of the God Ganesha signifying good beginning and destruction of obstacles, etc which even we had not envisaged during the design process.

The Fourth Element is depicted in the form of the Octagon in which Sanjeevani is enclosed. The 8 sides are representative of the 8 directions in which we hope the good work of our Hospital spreads and we are able to serve the maximum people possible.

Sanjeevani is created using the Hospital colours of Red, Blue and White, adding deepness to its meaning.
